Narrative nonfiction for book bingo

Narrative nonfiction… the mere words create happiness.

This is my natural reading place, and I’ve delayed posting a list of five (only five!) narrative nonfiction books because paring down my list of favorites? Not so very easy.

If you ask me on a different day, you’re likely going to get a completely different list of books.

But these five are seriously solid choices for any nonfiction reader.

My fellow narrative nonfiction fanatics…
What titles would you put on your list of 5 sure-bet narrative nonfiction books?

(Can you tell I’m wanting to increase my TBR?)

  1. Narrative nonfiction is so much happy place too! I just love it. I have a copy of The Warmth of Other Suns but the only one I’ve read on your list is Bad Blood and it was outstanding. I’ve been curious about The Boys in the Boat too. Thanks for sharing these!

  2. I love narrative nonfiction, too! The Warmth of Other Suns is a favorite, as is The Boys in the Boat. The next two are on my tbr, but I’m not familiar with Grandma Gatewood’s Walk. Must investigate! I just finished The Splendid and the Vile by Erik Larson this week… very well done.
