This week’s question:
What’s the most serious book you’ve read recently?(I figure it’s easier than asking your most serious boook ever, because, well, it’s recent!)
Lately I’ve been reading about lots of catastrophes, so this question ought to be easy.
The book that comes to mind first is Down around Midnight: A Memoir of Crash and Survival by Robert Sabbag, which I reviewed recently.
It’s a book about a plane crash, so it’s about as serious as a heart attack. And it’s gripping as all heck–I could not put it down.
